Narendra Kumar Ahmed and Harry Cheng of Maido India (also the “been there, done that guy”) announced a new partnership “to bring Japanese inspired designs to India, and the world”, over a quaint Japanese tea ceremony hosted in Mumbai at the Four Seasons Hotel on Monday. Didjya know? Narendra Kumar will open the upcoming Van Heusen India Men’s Week (VHIMW) in Delhi on August 27th at the Grand Hotel, Vasant Kunj. His show is entirely inspired and crafted with Japan in mind and I’m really hoping he makes some of those jackets for women soon as well, SO funky!
