BLUE WINTER

Sorry for my blatant absence from this blog (haven’t done much on my own either: http://seren-dip-a-tea.blogspot.com/). This post is a welcome to the cold winds and great fashion we’re seeing right now. This year is all about the Blues: you have cobalt, navy, indigo, cerulean.

East Jesus Nowhere: Part 2

So here it is, part 2. I don’t know how many of you went to the southern hemisphere like Australia or South Africa (like me!) but around this time of the year, it’s winter season there. Which means that we can all wear our blazer and jackets without sweating like a pig. These are two outfits that I’ve made that would probably help you guys packing and/or getting ready for a night out. Hope it helps!

Fcuk lace dress

(FCUK lace dress and detailed shoulder top)

Fcuk blue dress(FCUK blue dress and wooden clutch)

Hope this helps you guys!

East Jesus Nowhere: Part 1

Most of us are now getting ready to go to some other part of the world to visit our family/ intern/ do something listed on our bucket list/ meet new people/ or just get away from home for a while. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’ve always had a major issue with packing my suitcase, and it’s even harder when you have a weight limit to keep in mind. So I’ve decided to do a series post where I make lists or collages with what I would pack for my vacations, depending on the weather of the location I’m headed to. So here goes:

Warm days and nights(Pleated dress and cotton shorts from FCUK)

Warm days and nights(Patent heel and striped top from FCUK)

HELLO HEAT

The weather is 42*C and escalating, evenings begin by around 6 because the sun refuses to set, blankets become too hot to sleep in and air conditioners are almost never switched off. I think it’s safe to say that summers have officially begun. It’s time to refill your wardrobe with bright tanks, tiny shorts, and patterned skirts. But even though winters are now over, don’t rule out the predominant trend of layering your clothes. Go for lighter materials, but layer none-the-less. And if you can’t deal with the heat, then accessorize yourself from anywhere between a fuss-free blank slate with polished edges to a christmas tree attacked by a bedazzler.

The best way to start your wardrobe for the new season is by deciding which three basics are absolute necessities for you. I’ve narrowed down my list to these three: A little white dress (because LBD’s will scald you), a kaftan (if you go to the beach and want to look awesome) and a pleated skirt (swishyyyy)
